Hi, I’m Roger. My journey into photography began as a child.

Inspired by my father when we were living in Africa, I spent many happy hours puttering around his darkroom, learning how to develop and print in the pre-digital days. After I’d finished my homework, my dad would school me on the finer points of aperture and shutter speed relationships.

Bearing in mind my dad’s background was technical forensic photography, this was heady stuff for me as an 8 year old! I’m forever grateful to my dad giving me an understanding of the academic side of photography before growing up and playing with the artistic aspects.

My passion is high speed action and wildlife photography, which has grown to include several other genres over the years.

Nowadays, my interest is in ensuring my visual symbolism strives to draw the viewer’s interest and create a sense of enjoyment for you to share, regardless of the topic depicted. I hope you enjoy my work!
